Stanislaus State welcomes a new class of Warriors for the fall 2026 semester, including first-year and transfer students, master's students and credential candidates. Ranging in age from 17 to 64, with an average age of 23, these students bring a wide range of experiences to the University. Eleven percent are parents, and 88 are student-athletes. Most incoming students -- 91 percent -- come from Stan State's six-county service region, while 9 percent come from elsewhere in California. Others are arriving from outside California and the United States, with Malaysia representing the farthest point of origin. Business administration, psychology, liberal studies, criminal justice and biological sciences are among the top 10 bachelor's degree programs among incoming students, while social work, school administration, teaching and nursing lead at the master's level.
